Nancy cook
I started my career as a Photography Editor working with historical imagery, entertainment, art and fashion working with many professional and talented artists on everything from creating a digital database, acquiring press credential, editorial shoots, NYC fashion week, magazines, book projects, art shows and more. I then moved into fashion and self taught myself pattern making and sewing as well as knitting, weaving, embroidery and natural dyeing. I enjoy creating installation and textile art and have been a part of many group and solo shows. I started my own line, Wool and Violets, creating hand knit and sewn pieces for women and children. My interests then changed and I folded that business to create, Crash Doll Vintage in 2020. I am also an event planner and have been creating fun creative, professional and memorable events since 2016; curated art shows, vintage shows, live music, pop-ups, tastings, salon style discussions, private parties, dj nights and craft workshops. I also have worked as a fashion and prop stylist for still and film .
We live in a world of mass production
